Priti Mehla, MD

Dr. Priti Mehla, MD, is a highly trained, board-certified cardiologist with advanced expertise in interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, vascular interventions, and cardiac imaging. She is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered cardiovascular care, combining cutting-edge techniques with a strong emphasis on prevention and long-term heart health. Dr. Mehla has completed an exceptional series of fellowships at leading institutions nationwide. She pursued a Vascular Diagnostic and Interventional Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, following a Structural Heart Disease and Congenital Interventional Fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital, Northwell Health in New York City, where she also served as Director of Interventional Echocardiography. Prior to this, she completed her Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Her earlier advanced training includes a fellowship in Advanced Cardiac Imaging at Yale New Haven Hospital and a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Danbury Hospital, Nuvance Health, where she also served as Chief Cardiovascular Fellow. She began her postgraduate medical training with a residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut in Farmington. Dr. Mehla’s clinical interests include coronary artery disease, complex coronary interventions, structural heart procedures, peripheral vascular disease, and advanced multimodality cardiac imaging. She is known for her precise, thoughtful approach and her dedication to ensuring patients understand their conditions and treatment options. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mehla has served as a speaker at national cardiology conferences and has contributed to clinical research, with work presented at national meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals.
